FEED THE NEED
Our annual FEED THE NEED Program happens every year through the winter months. Each year we reach out to community organizations and community members to raise money for this wonderful program. This is by far Umbrella's favorite time of year! We give holiday gifts and meals to families in need.
Clothes, food, gifts, and other necessities all with the help of community leaders who reach out with identified needs. Umbrella's GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY PROJECT aims to stay connected to the communities in which we operate to help make the holiday season a little brighter.
We attend community vendor events with our prized quilted ornaments. Because our program has become so popular among our community, we get volunteers each year to help make the ornaments. This program has grown to help so many people during the holidays. In 2023 we invited crafters to donate their crafts to the FEED THE NEED program.
Helping others is rewarding beyond measure.
Umbrella Sponsored Croydon Haunted Hollows Sensory Friendly events, one of the only events in Bucks County, Pennsylvania that dedicates two evenings to Sensory Friendly Events for children and adults with disabilities.
Umbrella's own Noah Duerson, the son of the owner, was featured on Action News 6, along with employee Jackie Breault, who sponsors and volunteers for the event each year.

This event is a time honored tradition in Bucks County, and is attended by hundreds of families with sensory needs. Umbrella's owner, Maria Duerson, and Founder of the Bucks County Parent Group for Autism Support on Facebook, ensures that the parent group has a fun trick or treating experience before heading over to the neighbor's house for the Croydon Haunted Hollows Sensory Friendly Event.
The host of the event, Colleen, deserved the help and support of the autism community. Umbrella Functional Consulting & Support Team donates to various community organizations through its Give Back to the Community Program. This year, Umbrella's voting members agreed to sponsor the event, and offer volunteers.
We are proud supporters of those who bring love to the autism and disability community.
Umbrella FCST Gives Back to the Community through the Staples Bensalem store. Staples runs a yearly campaign to support the local community. Through the pandemic they donated pandemic supplies. With school returning to in-person sessions, they began partnering with customers and businesses to donate school supplies to organizations in the local community. Umbrella FCST believes in supporting the local community, and thanks to Staples, we can make this happen yet again.

We partnered with Downingtown Vintage on May 21st to raise funds for The Lord's Pantry in Downingtown, PA. This scorching hot day brought out crafters from the local community. Our famous amish star fabric ornaments were a big hit at the fair, but not as big as our mission to support the community, and offer opportunities to join our team to support those in need. Our team is so thankful to be a part of serving others, we give back as our way of saying thank you.
Umbrella Functional Consulting & Support Team partners with local providers and community resources so that we can build a better community for you and those you love. Thanks you Falls Township Police Department; we are pleased to collaborate with these amazing officers who care so much. We will definitely go back again next year. The Dragonboat Festival at Core Creek State Park was a great event, and so much fun to watch. The passion the rowers have for their sport and for helping local charities is amazing. This event was produced by the Bucks County Dragon Boat Association and presented by St. Mary Medical Center. The Bucks County Housing Group operates food pantries in Doylestown, Penndel and Milford Square, and this event aimed to Paddle Out Hunger. Big Thank You to everyone who participated in the event, and to everyone who helped the cause.
